Chris Kirsten is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on Private Funds Advisory. Mr. Kirsten has over 25 years of securities distribution and investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Kirsten was a Managing Director and Chairman of Greenhill’s Private Capital Advisory Group. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Global Head of Lehman Brothers’ Private Fund Marketing Group and prior was a Director in the Private Equity Finance Group at Deutsche Bank.  Mr. Kirsten’s private equity experience involved helping source, position and raise numerous buyout, venture, growth and real estate funds for financial sponsors. Mr. Kirsten began his career in institutional fixed income sales and management at Nomura and Citicorp.

Mr. Kirsten holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He also serves as a Columbia Business School Private Equity Fellow.

Barak Klein is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Klein has over 18 years of investment banking and asset management experience. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Klein was a member of the CR Intrinsic-General Distressed Group, investing in work-out and special situations at SAC Capital Advisors. Mr. Klein was previously a Senior Vice President at Jefferies Asset Management and prior to this was a Vice President in the Restructuring & Recapitalization Group at Jefferies & Company. Mr. Klein began his career in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin.

Lawrence Kwon

Larry Kwon is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Kwon has over 14 years of investment banking and advisory experience and is primarily focused on advising clients in the real estate, gaming, lodging and leisure industries on a wide variety of corporate finance matters including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings, and debt and equity capital raisings. Mr. Kwon has advised clients in both domestic U.S. transactions as well as numerous cross-border transactions involving parties in Asia, Canada, Mexico and the Middle East. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Kwon was a member of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company and a management consultant at Accenture.

Mr. Kwon holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Tufts University.

Stan Lai is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Lai was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Private Placements at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mr. Lai oversaw a leading and diversified private capital advisory platform where he originated, structured and executed a wide variety of privately negotiated equity, mezzanine, structured securities and illiquid portfolio monetization transactions for public and private clients across all sectors. Prior to that, he worked within the Private Funds Placement Group at Merrill Lynch. Previously, Mr. Lai was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers and was a member of the Restructuring Practice at Deloitte & Touche.

Mr. Lai holds an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Rick Leaman is a Vice Chairman of Moelis & Company. Mr. Leaman has over 29 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Chairman of UBS Investment Bank’s Investment Banking Division as well as a member of the Investment Bank’s Executive Committee. From 2005 to 2009, he served as both Global Head of Investment Banking and Joint Global Head of Investment Banking at UBS, overseeing over 2,000 bankers for coverage of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and advisory services to corporate and institutional clients, governments and financial sponsors. He was previously Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS as well as Co-Head of Healthcare Banking at Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., which was acquired by UBS in 1997. He began his career in investment banking at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Incorporated.

Mr. Leaman holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Mr. Leaman is a member of the Board of Visitors for the Fuqua School of Business.

Vinny Lima is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Lima was most recently at Christopher Street Capital, where he was a founding partner of the U.S. credit business and a Managing Director in charge of capital markets. Prior to Christopher Street Capital, he worked at Citigroup and Salomon Brothers for 17 years and was a Managing Director and Head of High Yield Syndicate. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing a team that structured, underwrote and distributed high yield transactions for leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and refinancings. Previously, he was the Head of North America High Yield Sales, overseeing relationships with major institutional accounts, and worked in High Grade Sales for the firm in Boston, Chicago and New York.

Mr. Lima holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers College. He is a Board member of NJ Seeds.

Patrick Loftus-Hills

Patrick Loftus-Hills is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Loftus-Hills has over 25 years of experience in the metals and mining field.  Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2011, he was based in Hong Kong as the Joint Head of the Asian Industrials Group and Head of Natural Resources at UBS.  He was previously responsible for Mining in the Americas at UBS while based in New York and worked in the mining team at UBS in Australia. Prior to joining UBS, where he worked for 11 years, Mr. Loftus-Hills worked with Macquarie Bank and BHP Billiton. He has completed numerous significant cross border mergers and acquisitions globally and raised capital and restructured companies listed on all of the major stock exchanges and in all the major markets around the world.

Mr. Loftus-Hills holds a B.S. and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University Australia. He is a current member of the Monash US Leadership Council.

Ken Moelis is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company, a global independent investment bank that provides innovative strategic advice and solutions to a diverse client base, including corporations, governments and financial sponsors.

Mr. Moelis has over 30 years of investment banking experience. Prior to founding Moelis & Company, he worked at UBS from 2001 to 2007, where he was most recently President of UBS Investment Bank and previously Joint Global Head of Investment Banking. Before joining UBS, Mr. Moelis was Head of Corporate Finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he worked from 1990 through 2000.

Mr. Moelis serves on the University of Pennsylvania Board of Trustees, the Wharton Board of Overseers, the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Hospital and was formerly Chair and Director on the Tourette Association of America Board.  He holds an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Daniel Motulsky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on advising companies in the consumer sector. Mr. Motulsky has more than 25 years of investment banking experience, with an emphasis on large cap multinational consumer companies. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Motulsky spent 16 years as a Partner at Lazard, where he most recently served as Managing Director and Global Head of Consumer and Retail. Previously, Mr. Motulsky was a Partner at Tanner & Co., a merchant banking and M&A advisory firm, and worked at Salomon Brothers Inc.

Mr. Motulsky holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (with Distinction) from Stanford University. Glenn Muscosky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on providing strategic and financial advice to clients in the infrastructure sector. Mr. Muscosky has over 20 years of experience in the transport and energy infrastructure sectors and was a founding member of the team that established JP Morgan Investment Management’s core infrastructure investment strategy. Mr. Muscosky has deep experience as an equity and project finance principal and his career spans the private and public sectors. Previously, he spent eight years at Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank, where he originated and closed project finance transactions in the energy sector and spearheaded Calyon’s North American activities in the transport infrastructure sector. Prior to that role, Mr. Muscosky spent six years at the New York City Transit Authority and the New York City School Construction Authority, where he analyzed public sector capital investments in transport and schools.

Mr. Muscosky holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Steve Panagos is a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Panagos is a widely recognized turnaround expert and has a long and distinguished career of leading complex bankruptcies and reorganizations for both companies and their creditors across a broad spectrum of industries. To date, Mr. Panagos has restructured more than $120 billion worth of debt across more than 100 transactions and has provided expert testimony regarding valuation and restructuring matters.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Panagos was the National Practice Leader of Kroll Zolfo Cooper’s Corporate Advisory & Restructuring Practice. During his 20 year tenure at Kroll Zolfo Cooper, Mr. Panagos provided restructuring advice to numerous companies or their creditors. On several occasions he has taken certain management roles to lead the restructuring process from within. Examples include serving as Chief Operating Officer and President of Krispy Kreme, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of Penn Traffic Supermarkets and Chief Restructuring Officer of Metromedia Fiber Networks, as well as several interim management positions at many other companies. Before joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Panagos was a Founder of Panagos Katz Situational Investing.

Landon Parsons is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company. Mr. Parsons has nearly 25 years of structured credit experience as an analyst, investor and advisor. Previously, Mr. Parsons was a member of the Mortgage Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs. He joined Goldman in 2008 after seven years at C-BASS, an affiliate of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation and Radian, where he was a Managing Director responsible for investing and managing structured products in non-agency and subprime RMBS, CMBS and ABS. Mr. Parsons also served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Structured Finance for CGA Investment Management and as a Senior Business Development Manager at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company. Dom Petrosino is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Petrosino has extensive capital markets and investment banking experience and was most recently Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Bear Stearns. While at Bear Stearns, he managed a leading business focused on providing capital structure solutions, including underwriting, structuring and executing leveraged loans, high yield notes and mezzanine financings. In this role, Mr. Petrosino advised clients across a broad range of industries on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations and other capital structure matters. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Petrosino was a Vice President of High Yield Corporate Finance at Chase Securities and previously a Vice President in Chase’s Global Mining & Metals Group.
