Bert Grisel

Bert Grisel is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Grisel has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising clients on restructuring, M&A and debt and equity financing. In Asia, he has been involved in the largest restructurings in the market such as Sino Forest and Kaisa. Mr. Grisel started his career at ABN AMRO where he spent 19 years and was most recently Head of Industrials and Real Estate in Asia. While at ABN AMRO, he also held other roles in Europe and Latin America. He has been in Hong Kong for over 11 years. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Grisel was interim CFO of a NASDAQ-listed company.

Mr. Grisel holds a M.Sc. Law from The University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Otávio Guazzelli is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Guazzelli has over 20 years of investment banking experience and was previously a Senior Partner and Head of Investment Banking at BR Partners. Prior to BR Partners, he worked in the investment banking division at Citigroup for 10 years, where he was most recently Co-Head of Investment Banking for Citigroup Brazil. Throughout his career, Mr. Guazzelli has advised on a wide variety of transactions in the Brazilian and Latin American markets across the telecom, consumer, agribusiness and industrial sectors.

Mr. Guazzelli holds a B.B.A. from the Fundação Getulio Vargas Institution and an M.B.A. from INSEAD Business School.

Andrew Haber is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Haber focuses on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other advisory services within the Telecom/Media/Technology sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Haber was with Bear Stearns for 10 years, most recently as a Managing Director where he was responsible for M&A coverage and execution in the Telecom/Media/Technology Group. He has advised clients on a wide variety of transactions, including domestic and international acquisitions (public and private), spin-offs/split-offs, leveraged buyouts, exclusive sales, joint ventures, highly contested transactions and in-court and out-of-court restructurings with an aggregate value of over $100 billion. Prior to receiving his M.B.A., Mr. Haber spent three years with Booz Allen Hamilton as a Management Consultant, where he advised clients across various industries in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

Mr. Haber graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A. and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Alexander Hageman

Alex Hageman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in capital markets advisory. Mr. Hageman has helped lead Moelis & Company’s EMEA equity capital markets advisory business since 2011 and many of the Firm’s IPO advisory assignments. He has extensive transaction experience executing IPOs and follow-on offerings, including the IPOs of Statoil ASA, Sophos PLC, Novatek PJSC, Ascential PLC, Neste Oil Oy, Pirelli Real Estate SpA, Europris ASA, Polypipe PLC, and Nordic Waterproofing AS. Mr. Hageman is also highly experienced in advising on and executing privatisations, with clients including the Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch and Russian governments. Previously, Mr. Hageman worked in the Equity Capital Markets groups at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, focusing on capital raisings for clients in the corporate, private equity and governmental spheres across all sectors. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked on the buy-side team at Robeco Asset Management.

Mr. Hageman holds an M.Sc. (Corporate Finance) from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Rich Harding is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Harding joined Moelis & Company from the Global Healthcare Group at Citigroup where he originated and executed a wide variety of corporate finance transactions in the healthcare sector, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other equity and debt transactions. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Harding worked in the healthcare industry at Health Dialog Services Corporation. Mr. Harding was recently honored as Investment Dealers’ Digest’s 2010 “40 Under 40.”

Mr. Harding holds a B.A. in Economics and Government from Connecticut College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan.

Mark W. Henkels

Mark Henkels is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company and is among the founding partners of the New York office. Mr. Henkels has over 25 years of investment banking experience. Before joining Moelis, he was Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets. While at CIBC, Mr. Henkels built one of Wall Street’s leading industrial banking franchises in metals and mining, capital goods, chemicals, aerospace and defense and building products. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Henkels led the Global Basic Industries franchises at Merrill Lynch focusing on the steel and aluminum, capital goods and building products sectors. Previous investment banking experience also included tenures at Salomon Brothers’ and Smith Barney.

Professor Dr. Herbert Henzler was Chairman of the Advisory Board of Credit Suisse Germany and Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Credit Suisse Group from 2002 – 2012. He is currently director emeritus at McKinsey and has been a member of the office of the Managing Director of McKinsey since 1994. Prof. Dr. Henzler joined McKinsey in 1970, was promoted to principal in 1975 and to director in 1978. He also served as Chairman of McKinsey Germany for 14 years and as Chairman of McKinsey Europe for three years. Prof. Dr. Henzler has been a lecturer in International Management at the University of Munich for 25 years, an honorary professor of Strategy and Organization and member of the faculty of business administration since 1992. He is also a visiting professor of Skolkovo Moscow Business School. Prof. Dr. Henzler also chaired the Wissenschaftlich-Technischen Beirat from 2004 – 2009 and served as chairman of the Zukunftsrat (Counsel on the future of society) of the Bavarian Government from 2009 – 2012. Prof. Dr. Henzler currently serves on the advisory boards of Deutsche Bahn, New Silk Route and FC Bayern München. Previously he served on the advisory boards of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Hochtief, Siemag and Mainstream Renewable.

Amelia Hill is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company Australia. Ms. Hill advised clients on capital raising transactions and mergers and acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank for 10 years prior to joining Moelis & Company and most recently led UBS’s Equity Origination efforts across emerging companies and the firm’s Alternative Capital Group in Australia.

Jan Caspar Hoffmann

Jan Caspar Hoffmann is a Managing Director and Head of M&A for German-Speaking Europe at Moelis & Company. Mr. Hoffmann has over 18 years of investment banking experience. He worked at Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and London for over 10 years, first as a banker and then as a Senior Principal and Director responsible for the German business at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, Merrill Lynch’s primary investment platform. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, he spent four years at Société Générale in Frankfurt where he was Head of M&A for German-Speaking Europe and Co-Head of Corporate Finance for German-Speaking Europe. Mr. Hoffmann has worked on a wide variety of corporate and private equity transactions including public takeovers and corporate carve-outs.

Mr. Hoffmann studied at the University of Cologne, the Business and Economics University of Vienna and at EAP (now ESCP) in Oxford, Madrid, Paris and Berlin and graduated with the Diplom Kaufmann and the Diplome Grande Ecole de Gestion. He currently holds lectureships in Corporate Finance at the Institute for Law and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Cologne.

Roger Hoit is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2000, Mr. Hoit was a Managing Director at SG Cowen, a division of Société Générale, and previously a Managing Director and Partner at Gleacher & Co. Mr. Hoit began his career at PaineWebber Incorporated.
