Moelis & Company Announces the Appointment of John Kimm as Managing Director
Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), a leading global independent investment bank, today announced that John Kimm has joined the Firm as Managing Director based in New York. He will provide senior level advisory solutions to clients on important strategic transactions across a variety of sectors with a focus on mergers & acquisitions.
John joins from Evercore where he spent 11 years as Managing Director focusing on M&A transactions across a broad range of industries including Diversified Industrials, Building Products, Consumer, Food & Beverage and various other sectors, as well as contributing to the growth of Evercore’s advisory alliances in Asia. Previously he held investment banking roles at BofA Securities, Jefferies and Bear Stearns. Before his career in investment banking, John served as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company.
