Neel Malviya

Neel Malviya is a Managing Director and serves as General Counsel for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia- Pacific) as well as Chief Operating Officer for Europe at Moelis & Company. Neel has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer in both private practice and the financial services industry. Neel’s responsibilities at the firm include working closely with our senior leadership to help drive the strategy and profitability of our European business as well as providing senior leadership to our businesses across EMEA and APAC.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2010, Neel was head of the EMEA Investment Banking legal team at UBS Investment Bank and also worked at Linklaters in London and Stockholm. Neel holds an L.L.B. from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. He is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

Claire Newson is a Managing Director and Head of Human Capital Management at Moelis & Company specializing in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) where she’s responsible for driving HR strategy in the region. Claire has over 20 years of Human Resources experience as a strategic HCM partner across various advisory and financial institutions.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Claire held several senior Human Capital Management roles in BNP Asset Management in London, ICAP, UFJI international and Goldman Sachs. She began her career at the Institutional Sales Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and ED&F Mann in London and Bahrain.

James Nichols is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in providing strategic and financial advice to clients across the services sector. James has extensive experience across M&A, equity capital markets, recapitalizations and other strategic advisory transactions.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, James was a Managing Director at DC Advisory where he co-led Business and Healthcare Services in the U.K., having previously advised financial sponsor clients. Before DC Advisory, he was a member of the U.K. Team at Credit Suisse and began his investment banking career at Investec. James holds a B.A. (Honours) in History and a M.A. (Distinction) in Finance Management, both from the University of Durham.

Will Peters is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on clients in the tech, media, and telecom sectors, specializing in communications infrastructure and FinTech. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Will worked at Barclays where he was a Managing Director and a senior member of the firm’s tech, media, and telecom coverage team in London.
Prior to starting his investment banking career at Barclays, he spent six years in the British Army, serving with the 1st Battalion, The Duke of Wellington’s Regiment in Europe and the Middle East. Will holds an M.A. with honours in Modern History from The University of St Andrews.

Matthew Prest

Matthew Prest is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe at Moelis & Company. Matthew has over 25 years of financial restructuring experience advising companies, financial sponsors, secured lenders and bondholders. Additionally, he has provided clients with other investment banking services including raising debt and equity finance for distressed and non-distressed companies. He has performed key advisory roles in some of the most high-profile, sensitive and complex situations in EMEA and Asia.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matthew was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Restructuring team at Close Brothers Corporate Finance. Before that, Matthew was a Director of Restructuring at M&G Investment Management and a Senior Manager in the restructuring team at KPMG.
Matthew is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a B.A. in History from the University of Warwick.

Chris Raff is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing strategic and financial advice to M&A clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Chris has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience with extensive expertise in originating and executing strategic M&A mandates across a broad range of industries.
Prior to Moelis & Company, Chris held various investment banking roles at Deutsche Bank, including Head of UK M&A and Head of Sponsor M&A for EMEA. He started his career in the Corporate Finance Group at Deutsche Bank.
Chris holds a first class honours BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Jean-Eudes Renier is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing financial and strategic advice to clients in the Industrials sector. Jean-Eudes has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience advising Industrials clients, including those in the autos, automotive technology, steel and mining, building products, paper and packaging and capital goods sectors. He has advised both public and private companies on a broad range of transactions throughout the corporate lifecycle, including mergers and acquisitions, equity issues and corporate restructurings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Jean-Eudes led the Global Industrial Investment Banking business at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for many years and most recently served as Chairman of the unit. Before that, he focused on the basic materials sector at Morgan Stanley and at Lazard in Paris and London.
Jean-Eudes holds a MSc. in International Finance from Sciences Po in Paris and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

François Saint-Lo is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising clients across the biopharma, outsourced pharmaceutical services (e.g. CDMOs, CROs and technology-enabled services) and HCIT sectors. He has extensive experience in M&A, with expertise in executing a broad range of transactions for healthcare and technology corporations and financial sponsors.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, François worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group and started his career in the Technology Investment Banking Group, both at Morgan Stanley. In 2024, François was named one of the Rising Stars of European Finance by Financial News.
François holds a Masters in Management from ESCP Business School (Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris).

Eric Sanschagrin is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he provides financial and strategic advice to clients in the technology sector, with a focus on enterprise software. Eric has 25 years of technology investment banking experience and deep relationships within the global private equity community. He has advised public and private companies on a broad spectrum of mandates including cross-border sell-side and buy-side M&A, as well as IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Eric was a Partner and Managing Director at William Blair, where he focused on enterprise software. Previously, Eric was a Partner and the Strategy and Transactions Technology sector Leader for Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa at EY as well as Managing Director and Head of TMT investment banking for the EMEA region at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler). Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of European Technology investment banking at Citigroup.
Eric holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce with Joint Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University.

Caroline Silver is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company, having previously served as a Managing Director until 2020. Caroline has been in the investment banking industry for over 30 years, with extensive experience advising clients in the exchange and market infrastructure vertical as well as regulators.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Caroline was Vice Chairman of EMEA Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Previously, she was Global Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in addition to a number of senior positions including European Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Restructuring. Prior to that, Caroline worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.
Caroline serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of Tesco plc, BUPA and Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. and the National School of Film & Television. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at Barratt Developments plc, is an International Advisory Board member at Adobe, Inc, and is a member of the Foundation of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Caroline started her career as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a B.A. in English with Spanish from Durham University.

Yorick van Slingelandt is a Managing Director and Head of EMEA & APAC at Moelis & Company. He also serves as the Firm’s Co-Head of Europe. Yorick has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience having worked in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and has significant expertise in leading cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions across a variety of industries, including infrastructure, transport, logistics, energy, aerospace, and telecommunications. Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2011, Yorick was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan.
Yorick holds an engineering and business degree (Ingénieur Commercial et de Gestion) from Université Catholique de Louvain and a Masters in Management from the Community of European Management Schools. Yorick serves on the Board of Directors of Education for Employment.
