Simon Scott
Managing Director – MA Financial Group

Simon is a Managing Director at MA Moelis Australia (the corporate advisory and equities division at MA Financial Group) where he is Head of Markets. Simon has over 20 years of experience in Australian financial markets primarily in the equities division of global investment banks including Credit Suisse, CitiGroup and Goldman Sachs.
Prior to joining MA Moelis Australia, he operated his own company where he provided advisory services to real estate companies and co-founded CorVal Partners, a boutique real estate funds management business. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney.

Frank Sellman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising companies in the building products and industrial distribution sectors. Frank has over 30 years of investment banking experience with extensive expertise on a wide variety of corporate finance matters, including M&A, leveraged buyouts, financial restructurings, public and private equity and debt financings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Frank was a Managing Director in the Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group at Bear Stearns. Before that, he worked at Houlihan Lokey and began his career at the Bank of Boston. Frank holds a B.A. in History from Boston University.

Peijie Shiu is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients on complex risk exposures. Peijie has over 20 years of investment banking experience across various platforms, including risk advisory, sales & trading and proprietary trading.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Peijie was a Quantitative Analyst and Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank. In this role he provided pricing, structuring and risk valuation services on fixed income products covering credit derivatives, structured finance, interest rates and corporate markets.
Peijie holds a MEng in Financial Engineering Option, Operation Research and Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering at Cornell University.

Margot Shoshan

Margot Shoshan is a Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing and Communications at Moelis & Company. Margot is responsible for directing and executing the strategic vision of the function through public relations, marketing and executive and corporate communications. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry serving as a strategic business partner and senior adviser across operational functions including marketing and communications, investor relations and human capital management.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Margot was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. She holds a B.B.A. with Honors in Accounting from Emory University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia.

Caroline Silver is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company, having previously served as a Managing Director until 2020. Caroline has been in the investment banking industry for over 30 years, with extensive experience advising clients in the exchange and market infrastructure vertical as well as regulators.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Caroline was Vice Chairman of EMEA Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Previously, she was Global Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in addition to a number of senior positions including European Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Restructuring. Prior to that, Caroline worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.
Caroline serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of Tesco plc, BUPA and Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. and the National School of Film & Television. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at Barratt Developments plc, is an International Advisory Board member at Adobe, Inc, and is a member of the Foundation of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Caroline started her career as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a B.A. in English with Spanish from Durham University.

Joe Simon is the Chief Financial Officer at Moelis & Company. He has over 25 years of experience as a senior manager of financial controls, operations and strategy specializing in financial services firms.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Joe served as CFO at Financial Security Assurance, where he engineered the treasury and accounting areas to enhance the firm’s financial planning and analysis, allocation of capital and transparency of financial reporting. He also led several financing transactions for the firm.
Prior to Financial Security Assurance, Joe was the CFO, Global Controller and Global Head of Operations at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he managed a global accounting and operations team and established the firm’s treasury function. Before joining Cantor Fitzgerald, he was a Principal and Vice President of Fixed Income Product Control at Morgan Stanley. Joe has also served as CFO of IntraLinks and TENTV.com. He began his career at Price Waterhouse.
Joe holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from The University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Olena Sokolowska is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where she specializes in advising clients in the fintech, data and information services sectors. She has extensive investment banking experience, with expertise advising clients across Financial and TMT sectors on corporate finance matters, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, capital raises and other equity and debt structures.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Olena was an Associate at Quayle Munro, now part of Houlihan Lokey’s Data and Analytics M&A group.
Olena holds a B.S. in Economics and International Development from the University of Bath.

Robert Sorrell is a Managing Director and Head of European Financial Sponsor Advisory at Moelis & Company where he focuses on providing strategic advice to private equity funds and other financial investors across Europe. Robert has 28 years of investment banking and asset management experience.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Robert was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Private Finance Group at Goldman Sachs and Founder / CIO of an independent asset management firm.
Robert holds an M.A. from Cambridge University.

Greg Starkins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising industrial companies across the aerospace and defense and multi-industry sectors. Greg has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, as well as shareholder advisory and activist defense situations.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Greg led advisory efforts across the Diversified Industrials, Capital Goods and Services sectors, as well as for the Global Aerospace and Defense sector at Deutsche Bank. Before that, Greg was a member of the M&A team at Merrill Lynch and also coordinated Merrill’s Global Aerospace and Defense advisory practice.
Greg began his career as a M&A lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Organizational Behavior/Management from Brown University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Chris is a Managing Director at MA Moelis Australia (the corporate advisory and equities division at MA Financial Group) where he focuses on business services, industrial services and private equity transactions and has over 15 years of experience in investment banking.
Prior to joining MA Moelis Australia, Chris was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group of Investec and previously a Partner and Head of Industrials for KPMG Corporate Finance.

He has over 20 years of investment banking and asset management experience, including advising clients on M&A, financing, and restructuring transactions across a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Adam worked at Lonestar Capital Management where he invested in work-out and special situations. Prior to that he was a Vice President in the Restructuring & Recapitalization group at Jefferies.

He has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, having advised boards and management teams on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and public and private equity and debt financings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, J.T. was a Senior Managing Director of Tech Investment Banking at SVB Securities and served as Managing Director and Head of Internet and Consumer Software, Americas at UBS. Previously, he was a member of the Technology Investment Banking teams at RBC Capital Markets and Robertson Stephens. Earlier in his career, J.T. held leadership roles at Six Apart, a content management platform that catered to SMBs and at Overstock.com (NASDAQ: OSTK), an early pioneer in the eCommerce sector.
J.T. holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. in Finance, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew Swift is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in Capital Structure Advisory and M&A. Andrew has extensive investment banking experience advising corporates, acquirers and creditors across a broad range of industries and geographies. He has executed a variety of in-court and out-of-court restructuring transactions, with an emphasis on debtor-side engagements, exchange offers, consent solicitations, lender negotiations, distressed financings, and S. 363 sales. Andrew has also advised public and private companies across a variety of complex M&A transactions, including cross-border hostile takeovers, activism defense, MoEs, and leveraged buyouts.
Andrew started his career at Moelis and holds a B.A. in History with honors from the University of Michigan.
