John Garrett

John Garrett is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company Australia. Mr. Garrett has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry across property investment sales, equity research, sales trading, risk arbitrage, long/short and special situations. Most recently, Mr. Garrett was Head of Hedge Fund Sales at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Garrett joined UBS in 1996 as a REIT analyst on the Australian Equities Research team and was responsible for REIT trading/sales from 1997 through 2002. Between 2002 and 2007, Mr. Garrett was Head of Sales Trading at UBS.

Mr. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Business in Property/Valuation and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is also an Accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Derivatives Advisor on the Australian Securities Exchange and Chi-X Australia.

Abhinav Gattani is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he advises clients in the technology sector on corporate finance matters. Mr. Gattani has over a decade of investment banking experience and has completed a number of high profile transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and leveraged buyouts. During his career, Mr. Gattani has advised a broad spectrum of marquee technology and non-technology clients globally, focusing on digitization, software, services, networking, digital media and internet sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Gattani was an Senior Associate in Global Technology Investment Banking at Citigroup and an Associate at Goldman Sachs. He was also formerly a Senior Manager at Oracle Corporation, where he focused on business development, strategy and product management.

Mr. Gattani holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Manisha Girotra is Chief Executive Officer of Moelis India. Ms. Girotra has more than 25 years of investment banking experience, with extensive cross-border M&A expertise across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Girotra was CEO and Country Head of UBS in India managing its investment bank, commercial bank, markets, equity research and wealth management divisions. Previously, she was Head – North India of Barclays Bank. Ms. Girotra began her investment banking career at ANZ Grindlays in London. She has appeared in Business Today’s “25 Most Powerful Women in Business in India” for the past six years as well as Fortune India’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” in 2014 and 2015.

Ms. Girotra holds a degree from St. Stephen’s College and received a gold medal for her Master’s Degree from the Delhi School of Economics. She currently serves on the boards of Ashok Leyland, Mindtree and Jio Payments Bank.

Robert Glauerdt is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he primarily advises traditional and alternative asset managers. Mr. Glauerdt has over 13 years of financial institutions and investment banking experience. His expertise include advising both private and publicly-listed financial institutions on transactions involving asset managers, wealth managers, private banks, securities and specialty finance firms in Europe and internationally. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Glauerdt was a Partner and Managing Director at Berkshire Capital Securities. Before that, he worked in UBS’ Global Financial Institutions group in London and New York, advising asset management clients on corporate finance and M&A transactions.

Mr. Glauerdt holds a Bachelor’s degree and an M.B.A. from Passau University and a Master’s degree in International Finance and Business from Columbia University.

Stu Goldstein is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising clients across the technology sector. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, he held several senior level positions at Citigroup including Head of West Coast Technology Investment Banking and Managing Director in the M&A group. Previously, Mr. Goldstein was a law clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Adrian Goodisman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on advising companies in the upstream oil & gas sector. Mr. Goodisman has over 25 years of investment banking and technical experience in the oil & gas exploration & production (E&P) sector. He was most recently a Managing Director at Scotiabank where he served in a variety of positions including Co-Head U.S. of Scotia Waterous – the firm’s oil and gas investment banking division. Prior to Scotiabank, Mr. Goodisman was a Managing Director and President at Waterous & Co USA, the predecessor to Scotia Waterous, where he was responsible for building out the firm’s U.S. practice. He has also held a variety of executive and technical roles at Ziff Energy Group and Phillips Petroleum.

Mr. Goodisman holds a B.S. (honors) in Mathematics from the University of Salford, Manchester and an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Bilateral US – Arab Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2010, Mr. Grady was a Partner and Managing Director at Athena Capital Advisors in Boston. Previously, he was at Lehman Brothers where he was the Managing Director responsible for the Investment Management Division in New England. Mr. Grady also spent 14 years at State Street Corporation where he was a member of the Executive Operating Group and a Managing Director responsible for sales, client services, consultant relations and charitable asset management for State Street Global Advisors.

Mr. Grady holds a B.A. from Boston University. Mr. Grisel started his career at ABN AMRO where he spent 19 years and was most recently Head of Industrials and Real Estate in Asia. While at ABN AMRO, he also held other roles in Europe and Latin America. He has been in Hong Kong for over 11 years. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Grisel was interim CFO of a NASDAQ-listed company.

Prior to receiving his M.B.A., Mr. Haber spent three years with Booz Allen Hamilton as a Management Consultant, where he advised clients across various industries in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

Alex Hageman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in capital markets advisory. Mr. Hageman has helped lead Moelis & Company’s EMEA equity capital markets advisory business since 2011 and many of the Firm’s IPO advisory assignments. He has extensive transaction experience executing IPOs and follow-on offerings, including the IPOs of Statoil ASA, Sophos PLC, Novatek PJSC, Ascential PLC, Neste Oil Oy, Pirelli Real Estate SpA, Europris ASA, Polypipe PLC, and Nordic Waterproofing AS. Mr. Hageman is also highly experienced in advising on and executing privatisations, with clients including the Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch and Russian governments. Previously, Mr. Hageman worked in the Equity Capital Markets groups at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, focusing on capital raisings for clients in the corporate, private equity and governmental spheres across all sectors. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked on the buy-side team at Robeco Asset Management.

Rick Haythornthwaite is an Advisory Partner at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising companies across the energy, industrial, and technology sectors. Mr. Haythornthwaite has nearly 40 years of executive and non-executive experience, and has led numerous companies through mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions at nearly every stage of the business life cycle. He began his career at BP PLC, having held various executive roles throughout his 17-year tenure, including Chief Geologist at BP France, General Manager of Magnus Oilfield and President of BP Venezuela.  Following his work at BP, Mr. Haythornthwaite continued to build leadership experience in the energy and industrials sectors as Corporate and Commercial Director of Premier Oil PLC for two years and four years at Blue Circle Industries, latterly as CEO until its merger with Lafarge in 2001. He went on to serve as CEO of Invensys PLC between 2001 and 2005 and most recently as a Partner at Star Capital Partners Ltd.

Mr. Haythornthwaite holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from The Queen’s College at Oxford and a Master’s degree in Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He currently serves as the Chairman of MasterCard Inc., Chairman of Centrica PLC, and Chairman and Founder of QiO Technologies Ltd.
