Bryan Lastrapes is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company where he focuses on advising clients in the oil & gas sector. Bryan has over 34 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and focuses on acquisitions, divestments, capital markets transactions, restructurings, and strategic advisory mandates. Before joining Moelis & Company, Bryan was Chief Operating Officer at Quantum Reservoir Impact, where he was responsible for the company’s strategy, operations and business development. Prior to that, Bryan worked at Shell E&P for over 30 years in various management and leadership roles, including Business Development Manager for North America Onshore. In this role, he was responsible for growth of the onshore North America unconventional portfolio, including all exploration, acquisitions and joint ventures.
Bryan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Houston.

Bassam Latif is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in Capital Structure Advisory and special situations M&A. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience, advising companies, equity investors, and creditors across a broad range of industries including technology, energy and clean tech, shipping and transportation, and industrials.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Bassam was with Rothschild, Inc. where he focused on M&A and restructuring transactions. Bassam holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Curt Launer is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company, where he advises midstream energy clients. He has over 35 years of experience in the energy sector as an equity research analyst, investment banker, and principal investor.
Curt is a co-founder of Bakken Energy, a developer of natural gas-fueled power generation and related infrastructure. He previously led teams at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse, Sagent Advisors and Deutsche Bank and was a principal at American Energy Partners, where he originated and participated in over $30 billion in mergers and acquisitions and more than $50 billion in equity and debt capital raising.
Curt began his career at DLJ as an equity research analyst covering natural gas, pipelines, and midstream infrastructure. During this time, he was the #1 ranked analyst by Institutional Investor Magazine for 12 years and was inducted into the “Institutional Investor Hall of Fame”. Curt holds a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

He has over 15 years of investment banking experience, having built extensive relationships across the technology sector and with financial sponsors, with proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Nathan was a Senior Managing Director of Tech Investment Banking at SVB Securities. He was previously a Managing Director at UBS focused on advising technology companies. Prior that that, he worked at a technology start-up and was in the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group at Jefferies. Nathan holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.

Weihan has extensive experience executing a wide variety of corporate finance transactions in Asia, including M&A, private financing and equity capital markets deals across various industries.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Weihan worked on the Technology Media Telecom investment banking team at Goldman Sachs, covering Asia ex-Japan. He also previously held roles at ABN AMRO and Credit Suisse First Boston. Weihan holds a M.A. in Law from Cambridge University, a M.Sc. in Management and Strategy from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Dan has nearly 25 years of investment banking experience, with expertise in public company and special committee M&A transactions across a range of industries.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Dan was a Managing Director in the M&A Group at Macquarie Capital, and Co-Head of the Exclusive Sales Group and Head of West Coast M&A at UBS Investment Bank. He began his investment banking career at Bear, Stearns & Co.
Dan holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School. He serves on the Board of Advisors of NYU’s Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance and the Board of Advisors of the Institute for Law & Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2011 as a Managing Director, Patrick was the Joint Head of the Asian Industrials Group and Head of Natural Resources at UBS in Hong Kong, and held leadership roles in the UBS global mining team across multiple jurisdictions including New York and Australia.
Patrick holds Law and Science degrees from Monash University in Australia. He serves on the Board of Directors of Ivanhoe Electric, is a Managing Member of Sweetwater Royalties LLC, an Orion Resource Partners portfolio company, and Chairman of the Monash University US Leadership Council, Co-Chairman of the US Friends of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Vice Chairman of the AUS USA Foundation.

Navid has over 30 years of investment banking experience.
Prior to Moelis & Company, Navid was Global Head of Media Investment Banking and a member of Americas Investment Banking Executive Committee at UBS Investment Bank. Navid was previously an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and began his career as an attorney at Irell & Manella. In 2024, Navid was named to Variety’s Dealmakers list, which recognizes the leaders behind the most impactful entertainment deals of the year. Since 2018, he has also been recognized in Variety500, an annual list of the 500 most influential leaders shaping the global media industry.
Navid holds an A.B. with Highest Distinction from the University of Michigan (Phi Beta Kappa) and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude. He currently serves on the Taft School Board of Trustees and on the President’s Advisory Group at the University of Michigan. Neel collaborates closely with senior leadership to drive strategy and profitability while overseeing operations across EMEA and APAC.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Neel was head of the EMEA Investment Banking legal team at UBS Investment Bank and worked at Linklaters in London and Stockholm. He holds an L.L.B. from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. He is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
