Robert Mendelson is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on credit fund clients, including credit investment institutions and platforms such as CLOs, private credit managers, multi-strategy fund managers, and institutional asset managers. Rob has over 20 years of investment expertise spanning leveraged finance and asset management with deep experience in restructuring, complex capital structures, and portfolio management. He has an extensive network of advisors in alternative asset management, sell-side, buy-side, capital markets, consulting, restructuring, and legal communities.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Rob served as the Head of Trading and Sourcing at Venor Capital Management. He began his career as a credit analyst at Shenkman Capital Management. Rob holds a B.A. in Finance from The College of New Jersey.

Michele Miyakawa is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Michele has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry as both a banker and an executive, leading multiple banking and management roles at Moelis & Company, including COO of Global Advisory.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Michele worked at UBS Investment Bank where she advised clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other equity and debt transactions. Before UBS, she was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Michele holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. She served on the Board of Directors of Pacific Mercantile Bancorp and as a Board Member of the Hollywood Hills West Council.

Ken Moelis

Ken Moelis is the Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company. Ken has over 40 years of experience both as an investment banker and an executive, having served in various significant leadership roles where he has been responsible for the innovation and growth of franchises across the industry.
Prior to founding Moelis & Company, Ken was President of UBS Investment Bank and previously, Head of Corporate Finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Ken began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Ken holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Business Council and the Business Roundtable, and currently serves on the Wharton Board of Advisors and the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Board of Advisors. He was formerly Board Chair and Director of the Tourette Association of America and served on the Board of Trustees at the University of Pennsylvania for 10 years.

John Momtazee is a Co-Founder and Global Chairman of Media, Sports, and Entertainment at Moelis & Company. He also leads the Global Blockchain Group. John has advised and financed many of the largest, most sophisticated media clients across the diversified media, blockchain technology, television, radio, newspapers, magazines, digital media, video games, entertainment, publishing, and outdoor advertising sectors, and has worked extensively with leading financial sponsors.
Prior to Moelis & Company, John was a Managing Director in the Global Media Group and Head of Broadcasting Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. Previously, John worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and served as Chief Financial Officer of The .TV Corporation. John was named one of “40 Under 40” in Investment Dealers’ Digest. He has also been recognized in the “Power 100” list by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News and was named one of the top 50 M&A bankers in the Americas by the Global M&A Network.
John holds an A.B. in Quantitative Economics and a M.S. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. and J.D., both with honors, from the University of Chicago. John serves on the Board of Trustees at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute and the board of Village for Vets, a non-profit that supports homeless Veterans. He is also a member of the LEAD Council and the Southern California Advisors for Stanford University and serves on the Law School Council for the University of Chicago.

Chris has over 15 years of investment banking experience and has advised application, infrastructure and communications software clients on M&A, debt financing and equity capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Chris was a Senior Managing Director of Tech Investment Banking at SVB Securities and previously a Managing Director at UBS. Prior to that, Chris worked at Jefferies Broadview in New York and Silicon Valley. He started his career at Intel Corporation.
Chris holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Rachel Murray is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where she specializes in Capital Structure Advisory for companies, sponsors, and creditors across a wide range of industries. She has extensive experience in in-court and out-of-court recapitalization and restructuring transactions with a specialized focus on Chapter 11 reorganizations, exchange offers, consent solicitations and distressed financings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Rachel worked in the financial services practice at Deloitte. She holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Accounting from the Leventhal School at the University of Southern California and an A.B. in Government from Harvard.

Glenn Muscosky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company on the Infrastructure team. He has over 20 years of private and public sector experience in transport and energy infrastructure.
Prior to Moelis& Company, Glenn was a founding member of the team that established J.P. Morgan’s first infrastructure investment strategy and lead project finance experience as a senior member of Credit Agricole’s project finance team. Glenn began his career at the New York City Transit Authority and the New York City School Construction Authority.
Glenn holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Arash Nazhad is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he co-leads the Clean Technology Group. Arash has nearly 20 years of experience and deep expertise in clean energy technology and across the energy landscape, having served as a strategic and capital markets advisor to growth- driven technology companies. His extensive investment banking experience includes originating and executing transactions across the corporate lifecycle including M&A, IPOs, public and private debt and equity capital raises, defense and other strategic mandates. Arash works with both private and public companies across clean technology and sustainability subsectors.
Prior to Moelis & Company, Arash was a Managing Director in the Clean Energy Transition team at Citi, where he was instrumental in establishing the firm’s coverage efforts across the ecosystem. He led coverage for companies in various sectors including Electrification, Grid Modernization, Clean Power, Transition Metals, Alternative Fuels, Carbon Tech and Climate Software. Before that, Arash held various operational and leadership roles at Equinor, a Norwegian international energy company and began his career working on Clean Development Mechanism projects across East Asia.
Arash holds an M.A. in Energy & Earth Resources from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B. Comm in Business Administration and Management from Concordia University.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Claire held several senior Human Capital Management roles in BNP Asset Management in London, ICAP, UFJI international and Goldman Sachs. She began her career at the Institutional Sales Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and ED&F Mann in London and Bahrain.

Rebecca Ong is General Counsel and Company Secretary at MA Financial Group. She is responsible for legal, compliance and company secretarial activities of Moelis Australia with over 15 years of experience as a lawyer in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining MA Financial Group, Rebecca was Regional Counsel at UBS, with primary responsibilities for advising its Asset Management businesses across Asia Pacific from both Sydney and Hong Kong.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)/Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow with the Governance Institute of Australia.

Michael Openlander is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients in the energy infrastructure sector including midstream, downstream, LNG and energy transition. Michael has over 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience and has advised on a wide variety of strategic advisory, M&A, capital markets and restructuring transactions in the U.S. and globally.
Michael previously worked in the Global Energy & Power Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Earlier in his career, he held financial roles in the investment banking group at Baird, the Corporate Finance and Accounting Group at Marsico Capital Management and the Audit and Assurance Practice at PwC.
Michael holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and an M.B.A. from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

Having advised clients on many notable and defining transactions in the region, Richard was instrumental in expanding the Firm’s presence in the Asia Pacific.
Prior to Moelis & Company Richard was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Advisers (“APA”). Before that, he was a Managing Director in the RBS/ABN AMRO group in Asia Pacific and Vice Chairman and Head of Global Clients Asia Pacific for ABN AMRO. Richard started his career at Barings Investment Bank where he held several roles including Managing Director and Head of Asia Investment Banking in addition to working in the firm’s Australia and London offices.
